To strengthen our Design Office's expertise, we are looking for a:
Electrical Design Engineer (F/H)
Reporting to the Engineering Department, you will design and carry out technical studies for our clients in the process industry sector (chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food industry).
In this role, you will:
- Design, size, and model installations according to the specifications in the client’s technical brief and procedures;
- Participate in site surveys and measurements at client sites to gather data for modeling;
- Produce and verify execution studies (plans, diagrams, calculation notes, loop calculations);
- Prepare and present the technical part of execution study files;
- Contribute to the development of tools and activities related to Electrical and Instrumentation Automation (EIA);
- Participate in project synthesis and/or technical meetings;
- Ensure technical interface between various project stakeholders (client, project manager, construction teams) for proper project execution;
- Consult suppliers and select suitable materials;
- Verify that work complies with studies and client specifications;
- Stay informed about standards and regulations;
- Write test sheets and provide technical support to site teams;
- Ensure the final technical dossier is delivered to the client.
Qualifications:
- Higher education Bac +2/3 (DUT, BTS, BUT) in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in electrical installation design offices;
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, CANECO, SEE Electrical, and familiarity with 3D software (REVIT, RECAP, SCENE);
- Strong interpersonal skills, listening ability, and adaptability;
- Proactive approach to client requests and technical problem-solving;
- Analytical skills, autonomy, and rigor are essential for successful project studies.
