The Pacific Community (SPC) seeks a Projects Officer to support the Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystems (FAME) Division. You will manage budgets, procurement and grants, prepare financial reports and assist with audits, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and SPC policies.

Based in Nouméa, you will work with the Implementation Support team, coordinate travel for workshops, and contribute to continuous improvement across project finance and administration in a multicultural

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, financial management or business administration or equivalent.
• 4–5 years in projects finance, procurement or administration.
• Audit administration experience and travel logistics management.
• Budgeting, performance planning and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Strong written English communication is essential.

Responsabilités

• Support procurement and grants processes compliant with donor rules.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial reports for SPC and donors.
• Prepare documentation for audits and ensure timely compliance.
• Maintain electronic filing of financial, procurement and grant documents.
• Provide back‑up for other Projects Officer roles and drive process improvements.
