Role: Project Officer - Partnership Boards Engagement

Responsible to: Partnership Board Co-Ordinator

Hours: 35 hrs

Location: Hybrid - negotiable. Office base in Truro with opportunities for remote/community work. Some travel across Cornwall, so a car is essential.

Salary: £24,482-£29,591 FTE (Grade 2)

Contract: Fixed Term to 31 May 2029 (subject to external contract)

Job Purpose:

The Project Officer will support the coordination and management of four Partnership Boards (Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Carers, Autism, and Older Persons). Responsibilities include facilitating engagement, organizing meetings, ensuring diverse representation, and supporting self-advocates with disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support development and maintenance of Board Terms of Reference, strategy, and action plans.
  • Ensure diverse and appropriate representation on Boards.
  • Engage with health and social care colleagues and community organizations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including agenda setting and minute-taking.
  • Produce accessible materials and support self-advocates in participation.
  • Maintain records and assist in report preparation.
General:
  • Participate in team meetings and support organizational goals.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and organizational procedures.
  • Contribute to personal and team targets.
  • Represent Healthwatch Cornwall professionally and maintain boundaries.
  • Identify training needs and participate in development opportunities.
  • Provide general support as needed.
