VENS sp. z o.o. seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive CAPEX capacity expansions and production-line improvements in an industrial facility in Paris. You will oversee CIP, infrastructure, utilities, HVAC, and fire protection upgrades, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

The role demands on-site leadership, fluent French and English, and a strong background in GMP/CQV standards within the food or pharmaceutical sectors.

Qualifications

• Fluent French and English (min. B2) for on-site coordination with local teams and contractors.
• 5+ years in industrial construction, including project management and budget control.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical industries with GMP/CQV knowledge is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Lead comprehensive CAPEX projects from specification through commissioning and start-up.
• Supervise upgrades of production lines, CIP, infrastructure, utilities, HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Plan, control and report to ensure budget, schedule and quality targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with construction laws and corporate standards (NFPA, GMP/CQV, HACCP/GHP).
• Coordinate with OHS, maintenance, Controlling and external contractors; report progress to steering bodies.

Job Description

• Comprehensive project management (CAPEX): leading the capacity increase and production lines improvement of an existing facility with warehouse areas from the specification phase, through execution, to commissioning and start-up
• Engineering supervision: overseeing the upgrade implementation of production lines, CIP, infrastructure, utilities, HVAC, and fire protection systems
• Planning and control: responsibility for delivering the project within the assumed budget, schedule, and rigorous quality standards
• Enforcing compliance: executing works based on construction law, corporate standards (NFPA, FM Solutions), and occupational health and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, GHP)
• Team and stakeholder management: daily cooperation with OHS, Maintenance, Controlling, local management, and coordination of external contractors
• Reporting: cyclical and transparent reporting of work progress directly to the structures steering the project

Requirements

• Languages: fluent French (essential for working with the local team/contractors), and English (min. B2, corporate standard)
• Industry experience: proven experience in managing investment/expansion projects in the food or pharmaceutical industry (knowledge of GMP, CQV, IL6S standards will be a strong asset)
• Technology: practical engineering experience in implementing and supervising production lines and CIP washing systems
• Project experience: min. 5 years in industrial construction, including min. 3 years as a Project Manager (managing budget, subcontractors, and risks)
• Education: higher engineering degree (preferably Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related)
• Tools: proficiency in reading technical drawings, knowledge of AutoCAD, and advanced use of the MS Office suite (including scheduling tools)
• Mindset: highly developed negotiation and decision-making skills - we are looking for a leader who can solve problems on the construction site, not just elevate them
