Project Manager Officer Programme (H / F)

For our team at Voith Paper in France, we are looking for a Service Engineer for Automation.

Region: Golbey / Grande Est / France

Position: Home office & field service

Responsibilities:

• Regular service calls to paper factories for repair, optimization, and maintenance of automation systems installed with customers.
• Identification of defects and rectification of malfunctions in the case of customer-specific problems.
• Installation of software updates and data backups on the customer’s premises.
• Optimization of control systems in consultation with the customer to improve the quality of the final product.
• Remote diagnostics and service via the Internet.
• Support for proactive sales of spare parts, upgrade solutions, service, and training courses.
• Conducting customer training courses and preparing service-call reports and customer documentation.

Your Profile:

• Successful completion of training as a technician or industrial supervisor in electrical engineering/mechatronics.
• Experience in mechanical and plant engineering, along with a basic knowledge of control and automation technology and experience in technical field service.
• Good knowledge of general software applications.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Attention to detail, organized work habits, self-organization.
• Dedication, good communication skills, independence, and a conscientious approach to work.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Europe, especially in France.
