Project Manager Intern

Key responsibilities

The department Organizational Management (OM) is responsible for driving global IT projects across all lines of business of Allianz Partners. They serve as the main interface between Lines of Business (LoB) globally and the IT provider, focusing on delivering IT standard services.

The team supports the LoB in implementing approved and prioritized IT investments and promotes process harmonization through group target platforms.

Join our team as an intern to explore how Artificial Intelligence can transform global IT project management. Your role will involve analyzing current practices and identifying areas where AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, and collaboration.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Analyze & Observe
   • Shadow project managers to understand workflows, tools, and challenges.
   • Map key project management processes across different Lines of Business (LoBs).
2. Identify AI Opportunities
   • Identify relevant AI tools and techniques, such as internal ChatGPT, AI Agents, Copilot.
   • Propose use cases where AI can enhance planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
   • Benchmark the best AI capabilities applicable to project management.
3. Prototype & Test
   • Collaborate to test AI-based tools or models.
   • Evaluate their impact on efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
4. Report & Recommend
   • Present findings and suggestions to the team and department.
   • Document lessons learned and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
