RMW architecture & interiors in San Francisco is seeking an experienced interiors Project Manager to lead client objectives, manage the project team, budget, schedule and process across multiple interior design projects.

You will coordinate with clients and consultants, oversee design development, QA/QC and construction administration, and contribute to growing the firm’s design image through strong leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree or recognized equivalent.
  • Licensure or certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience on various size projects.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.

RMW architecture & interiors, is an innovative, award-winning architecture and interior design firm, with a collaborative culture. Our mission is to design engaging workplaces for great companies. We are currently experiencing exciting growth and seeking an interiors Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our San Francisco studio.

Role

The Project Manager manages the client’s objectives and the project team, financial performance, schedule and project process.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees design of work to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinates and communicates with client and project team on a routine basis and monitors project progress.
  • Assists in business development and project pursuits and is capable of representing and furthering the firm’s design image within the community.
  • Develops budget and schedule goals with client and ensures that the project financial performance conforms to the project plan.
  • Projects upcoming work and aligns with staffing resources.
  • Overviews framework and reviews for conformance with RMW standards.
  • Manages project staff and client expectations and coordinates with consultants.
  • Helps establish the team structure, roles, and responsibilities, delegating when appropriate and directing staff.
  • Ensures that the project meets general firm goals, project design intent, standards, and quality assurance, as well as monitors liability exposure.
  • Reviews project financial reports, including billing information, and reports required in conformance with the project process.
  • Prepares and reviews contracts, schedules, fees and billing.
  • Oversees code review process and compliance with municipal requirements.
  • Reviews Specifications with Job Captain, Project Architect and Specification Writer.
  • Ensures the QAQC / technical review of documentation, and mentors team members on the process.
  • Implements office standards, policies and procedures.
  • Manages consultants’ work and contracts during all project phases.
  • Manages team during Construction Administration.

  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of design, building systems, lighting, building codes, construction methodology, materials and costs.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite.

Salary range $130,000 – $145,000/ per year.
