The Project Manager, Outside Plant - Infrastructure (OSP) will be responsible for all Telecommunication Fibre build related activities in New Brunswick to ensure time schedules are achieved and all quality standards are implemented.

This is a fully remote opportunity, however the candidate must be able to align their work hours in order to effectively support our team in Atlantic Canada.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

1. Lead teams of installers and splicers in the field
2. Set and manage customer expectations as well as expectations of the company within Atlantic Canada
3. Initiate and maintain communication with project partners, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
4. Manage productivity and schedules
5. Analyze plans, conduct site visits and surveys, and prepare bids and quotes
6. Understand all contractual obligations between the company and the customer
7. Maintain and track project P&L margins
8. Plan projects including logistics and control costs of implementation
9. Manage and negotiate amendments and compensation requests
10. Ensure activities and interactions comply with the company’s code of conduct and ethics guidelines
11. Maintain and forecast consumable inventory
12. Adhere to city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

1. 10 years of relevant field experience
2. 5 years of experience in telecommunications and OSP project management
3. Preference given to those with PMP, CAPM, or Gold Seal Recognition
4. Extensive knowledge of OSP design and fiber implementation project management
5. Familiarity with Eastlink, Bell, and Rogers installation and repair processes
6. Proficiency in MS Office software
7. Good teamwork ability
8. Strong organizational skills
9. Resourcefulness
