As Project Manager in our EPC Division, you will hold the overall responsibility for managing assigned new building and modernization projects. Your key tasks will include:
- Ensuring that projects are delivered with the best possible results in terms of quality, delivery time, cost, and resources.
- Leading and managing the project team from start-up to delivery.
- Planning and scheduling the project with the team on a regular basis.
- Controlling and reporting project progress and financial status according to ALMACO's internal processes.
- Reporting project progress to the customer, triggering invoicing on time, and managing cash flow.
- Handling customer contacts throughout the project.
- Managing variation and change orders with the customer and subcontractors alongside the project team.
- Conducting proactive risk analysis, management, and mitigation in all project phases.
- Ensuring compliance with all project activities, including:
- Applicable HSE-related laws, rules, and regulations.
- ALMACO Quality standards and specifications.
- Project and customer-specific requirements and standards by qualified team members.
- Local legislation of the project site(s) as specified in the sales phase.
To be successful in this role, we ask that you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of project management work experience within the Marine or Offshore sector.
- Good skills in reading and analyzing drawings and other technical documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, and relevant rules and regulations.
- An in-depth understanding of project financials and contracts.
- Good skills in project planning, delegating, and organizing.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are advantageous.
- Proficiency in ERP, MS Office Programs, MS Project, and Auto-Cad. P6 is an advantage.
- A technical or business degree, including leadership studies related to the Marine or Offshore sector.
