The University of Bordeaux is a large, dynamic institution that values staff well-being. The Bordeaux Population Health (BPH) Center (U1219 Univ. Bordeaux – Inserm) is a leading public health research center in France, with around 500 members working on diverse health topics.
The GHiGS team aims to improve health in the Global South and reduce health inequities. The project manager will oversee the EMERG project, ensuring its administrative and financial coordination with partners, working closely with principal investigators Prof. Denis Malvy and Prof. Laurence Delhaes.
Responsibilities include supporting other projects like INSTEAD and TICKRISK, and potentially contributing to new project proposals, especially related to emerging infectious diseases (EIDs).

Master’s degree in Public Health or related field, with at least two years of project management experience involving multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of health sciences is a plus.
Proficiency in project management, coordination, and administration. Familiarity with MS Office and statistical software (R, Stata) is advantageous.
Autonomous, rigorous, proactive, adaptable. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (minimum B2).
