Aerospacelab in Toulouse is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end space missions—from proposal to delivery—design, manufacturing, assembly, integration and flight operations. You will ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery for internal, commercial or institutional customers, define and drive the product development plan, manage risks, and lead the project team with suppliers.

Fluency in English is required; French is a plus; MSc/PhD in Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in complex system project management.
• Basic knowledge of satellite design and manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain and quality processes.
• Team player with ability to work across cultures and levels.
• Curious and creative in cutting-edge space products.
• Customer-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills across organizations.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage all phases of the assigned project from proposal to delivery including design, manufacturing, assembly, integration and flight operations.
• Be accountable for on-time, on-cost, on- quality delivery to internal, commercial or institutional customers.
• Ensure satisfaction of customers and compliance with technical performance, schedule and quality metrics.
• Serve as main interface with project stakeholders (customers, suppliers, internal teams).
• Define and lead the product development plan, prioritizing activities for value delivery.
• Drive tradeoffs at the project level and manage the project team.
• Lead partners and major suppliers, including reviews with the supply chain department.
• Manage risks and implement actions to reduce impact.
• Promote innovation and agility in a new space context.
• Participate in continuous improvement in a fast-growing company.

Your mission

• Manageall phases of the assigned project – from proposal to delivery to thecustomer : design, manufacturing, assembly, integration and flightoperations
• Beaccountable for the on time, on cost, on quality delivery of the spacemission to the Internal, commercial or Institutional customer
• Beresponsible for ensuring the program achieves its goals on importantcriteria: Satisfaction of the internal, commercial or institutionalcustomer, compliance with technical performance, delivery on schedule,delivery with quality, program financial results
• Be the main interface with all the project internal/external stakeholders(customers, …)
• Define& lead the product development plan, prioritize the activities inorder to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the productdeliverable
• Drivetradeoffs at project level
• Managethe project team during all the phase of the project
• Leadthe partners and major suppliers including reviews and deliverables incollaboration with the supply chain department
• Managethe various risks that occurred during the project and implement all theappropriate actions to reduce the effect
• Promoteinnovation and agility inside the project in a new space context
• Participatein continuous improvement process to a young and dynamic fast-growingcompany

Must have

• MSc orPhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 5+years of experience in complex system project management
• Basicknowledge of the key technical domains in satellite design andmanufacturing
• Basicknowledge of supply chain and quality processes
• Teamplayer: ability to work with a team on resolving complex technicalproblems and complex management activities
• Curiousand creative in approaching cutting edge products in space industries
• Customeroriented
• Excellentcommunication skills and ease at working across different cultures anddifferent levels of an organization
• Language:Fluent English, French is a plus
