Aerospacelab is seeking a passionate fullstack developer to join a fast-paced agile squad. You will design, implement and test web-based software components within our SaaS ecosystem for satellite missions.

Strong experience with Python backend (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy) and Vue/Nuxt frontend, plus CI/CD and Docker/Kubernetes knowledge, will help you thrive in this role and contribute to state-of-the-art earth observation software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in computer engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases and Git/GitHub.
• Proficient in English.
• Eligible to work at one of our offices in Belgium/Switzerland/France.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and test software products.
• Write technical documentation and test procedures.
• Mentor junior colleagues and perform code reviews.
• Participate in architecture design and CI/CD configuration.

Role overview

As a satellite manufacturer and operator, Aerospacelabdevelops a range of software products that support the lifecycle of satellitesmissions: operation of in-orbit satellites, planning of ongoing and futuremissions, collection and processing of data, intelligence extraction … you nameit ! To support those activities, we are looking for passionate and talenteddeveloper with a user-centric mindset.

As a fullstack developer, you will join an agile developmentsquad that works on one of the cutting-edge solutions that compose our“Software-as-a-Service” ecosystem. Within this team, you will contribute to thedesign, implementation and testing of web-based softwarecomponents.

Our software missions

• Communicate with and control in-orbit satellites.
• Plan ongoing and future satellite missions (e.g. plan when/where to acquire images).
• Collect and process data from instruments (e.g. calibrate images).
• Extract information from collected data (e.g. compute land cover from images).

Ourtech stack

• Backend– Python: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy.
• Backend– Java: Quarkus, Hibernate.
• Frontend:Nuxt.js (Vue.js), TailwindCSS.
• Database:PostgreSQL, S3.
• CI/CD:Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.

Must have

• Bachelor,Master or PhD’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent.

• Familiarwith code versioning tools, such as Git and GitHub.
• Proficientin English.
• Beeligible to work from one of our office locations (Belgium / Switzerland /France).
