Essentially experts in their field, they work in multidisciplinary teams at our customers’ sites. Working as part of the engineering or new works department, or within a design office, they manage design projects ranging from a few thousand euros to several million euros.rnrnSome design or install equipment, while others dimension piping networks, electrical cabinets or define a PLC architecture in a process industry.
Carrying out engineering studies or pre-studies: defining system architecture, choosing hardware specifications, functional analysis, carrying out risk analyses, etc.
Drawing up tender specifications, taking part in the selection of subcontracted design offices.
Participating in preliminary projects, project studies, checking studies and execution plans, taking part in acceptance (FAT/SAT) and testing phases.
Assisting the project owner during operations prior to acceptance, scheduling, steering and coordinating the site.
With 2 to 5 years’ higher education, you have at least 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment in automation.
You will be able to carry out studies and research information in the field independently.
You have knowledge of specific tools such as SCHNEIDER (Unity PRO), SIEMENS or other PLCs or supervision systems on the market.
You have a Master’s degree or a degree from a general engineering school or one with a specialisation rnrnYou have experience in project management and have worked in project mode using in-depth technical skills (mechanics, automation, electricity, instrumentation, piping, etc.). rnrnYou have budget management and planning skills (producing project estimates, monitoring project expenditure, anticipating and assessing problems, meeting deadlines and being results-oriented). rnnYou have good safety and industrial risk management skills.
