This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Project Manager with expertise in Life Sciences and Cell & Gene therapy to join a dynamic organization where your strategic impact will be immediate. You will work directly with the CSO and founding partners, overseeing cross-functional activities from CRO management to preclinical development and fundraising strategies.

This remote-first role is open to candidates across France and potentially the UK, offering competitive compensation based on experience. The ideal candidate will excel at managing and resolving mission-critical project constraints at both scientific and business levels, working independently and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive project success through strategic planning, risk mitigation, and coordination of internal and external teams to accelerate therapeutic innovation.
  2. Develop and optimize project roadmaps, budgets, and timelines to balance scientific ambitions with commercial goals, ensuring milestones lead to market impact.
  3. Address project challenges with agility and innovation, identifying solutions and adjustments to keep therapeutics on track for patient delivery.
  4. Manage strategic CRO partnerships and vendors, selecting top-tier collaborators to maximize value and speed up development.
  5. Foster effective team dynamics and decision-making, transforming meetings into productive collaborations with clear action plans.
  6. Ensure transparent communication and strategic storytelling, providing updates and data-driven insights to support leadership decisions.
  7. Collaborate directly with Scientific Director and Project Lead as a trusted advisor, promoting cross-functional alignment to enhance scientific and commercial outcomes.

Your Skillset

  • Experience in drug discovery within fast-paced industrial settings where science impacts business.
  • Deep understanding of drug discovery processes from early research to preclinical validation.
  • Cell and gene therapy experience is highly valued—help us shape the future of precision medicine.
  • Oncology and immunology expertise is preferred—addressing some of medicine’s greatest challenges.
  • Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with scientific and operational excellence.
  • MSc or higher in biochemistry, immunology, virology, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts); PMP certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and translate complex science into compelling narratives.
  • Solutions-oriented, with strong prioritization skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to push boundaries and deliver results.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments fostering innovation through collaboration.
  • Stakeholder management expertise, building bridges between teams and external partners to foster innovation ecosystems.
