This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Project Manager with expertise in Life Sciences and Cell & Gene therapy to join a dynamic organization where your strategic impact will be immediately recognized. You will work directly with the CSO and founding partners, driving cross-functional excellence from CRO management to preclinical development and fundraising strategy.

This remote-first role is open to candidates across France and potentially the UK, offering competitive compensation based on experience. The successful candidate will excel in managing and resolving mission-critical project constraints at both scientific and business levels, being comfortable working independently and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive breakthrough project success through strategic planning, proactive risk mitigation, and seamless orchestration of internal teams and external partnerships to accelerate therapeutic innovation.
  • Architect and optimise project roadmaps, budgets, and timelines that balance ambitious scientific goals with commercial viability, ensuring each milestone advances us toward market impact.
  • Navigate project challenges with agility and innovation , rapidly identifying solutions and course corrections to keep cutting-edge therapeutics on track for patient delivery.
  • Lead strategic CRO partnerships and vendor ecosystems , leveraging competitive intelligence to select top-tier partners while maximising value and accelerating development timelines.
  • Facilitate high-impact team dynamics and decision-making , transforming meetings into powerful collaboration engines that generate clear action plans and breakthrough insights.
  • Champion transparent project communication and strategic storytelling , delivering compelling updates and data-driven recommendations that empower leadership to make bold, informed decisions.
  • Partner directly with Scientific Director and Project Lead as a trusted strategic advisor, fostering cross-functional alignment to amplify scientific and commercial potential.

Your Skillset

  • Hands-on experience driving drug discovery innovation in fast-paced industrial environments where science meets business impact.
  • Deep fluency in drug discovery ecosystems, from early-stage research to preclinical validation.
  • Cell and gene therapy experience is highly valued—join us in shaping the future of precision medicine.
  • Oncology and immunology expertise preferred—help us tackle some of medicine's greatest challenges.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with scientific ambition and execution excellence.
  • MSc minimum in biochemistry, immunology, virology, or related fields—bring your scientific foundation to entrepreneurial impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (Gantt charting). PMP certification is preferred for those ready to lead at the highest level.
  • Exceptional communication skills that inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and translate complex science into compelling narratives.
