The Firm:

Its reputation for providing a full-service business law offering is known not only throughout France but in various other locations in the World where it serves its clients.

The firm has an impressive array of clientele from SMEs to mid-sized companies or larger groups as well as various public authorities - indeed this is very much a firm that services clients in both the public and private sectors.

The firm has a low turnover rate for its staff, which would add much credence to the claim by lawyers that work there, that this is a good firm to work for. The staff foster a collegiate and team-focussed atmosphere, and there is a lot of opportunity for senior lawyers to grow their business and enjoy both stimulating and rewarding work.

The Opportunity:

The firm would like to appoint the successful candidate as a partner joining the projects team working with an existing project finance partner. For the avoidance of doubt, this is a role to focus on all of the finance angles pertinent to project development and finance.

The projects group undertakes work mostly in the energy, infrastructure, construction and power-related industries and it does this for clients within France and wider Europe, Africa and the Far East. Its clients include developers, sponsors, government bodies and lending organisations, with a lot of the big names in project finance deals worldwide counted among the firms core clientele.

The Candidate:

This is a great role for someone looking to make their leap from Counsel to Partnership, or for a lateral Partner to join and help grow the practice, its clientele and brand with some new ideas. The successful candidate will have excellent financial acumen as it pertains to all stages of the financing of projects, together with some background in some of the aforementioned sectors.

As with any partnership opportunity, the candidate will bring their own clientele as well as supporting the firms existing clients, however good candidates with modest business levels will be duly considered. The firm is more interested in the quality of the lawyer in this regard than concentrating purely on revenue introduced. This is a fantastic opportunity therefore, for someone who may have been overlooked for partnership by other firms.
