Job summary

Socomec Sas is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the ESS Business Unit's project portfolio and drive performance across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. You will manage a team of project managers, coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and steer governance, risk management, and contract activities to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires leadership in a multinational environment with fluent French and English, and travel up to 30% across France and abroad.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
• Proven experience managing complex industrial projects.
• Fluent French and English in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of a strategic project portfolio, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, schedule, safety and profitability objectives.
• Lead and develop a team of project managers, fostering capability growth, engagement and collective performance.
• Ensure portfolio governance, identify major risks and implement the appropriate action and escalation plans.
• Coordinate interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Service and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contribute to pre-sales and contract negotiation phases by providing expertise on technical, planning, execution and risk aspects.
• Define and deploy processes, tools and best practices that continuously improve Delivery performance and support the growth of the ESS Business Unit.

You join an autonomous Business Unit dedicated to energy storage, operating at the heart of the energy transition. You contribute to the deployment of innovative projects across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Under the management of the Business Unit Director, you drive the execution of the ESS project portfolio and the overall performance of the activity.

Qualifications
