Zusammenfassung

Socomec is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the ESS project portfolio within a dedicated energy storage business unit, driving execution across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

You will manage a team of project managers, ensure governance, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Service and Commissioning to deliver safe, on-time and profitable projects. Fluency in French and English is required, with roughly 30% travel in France and abroad.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics, or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing complex industrial projects.
• Significant experience in team leadership and business activity leadership.
• Fluent French and English in an international environment.

• Define and deploy processes, tools and best practices to improve Delivery performance and support growth of the ESS BU.

You join an autonomous Business Unit dedicated to energy storage, operating at the heart of the energy transition. You contribute to the deployment of innovative projects across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Under the management of the Business Unit Director, you drive the execution of the ESS project portfolio and the overall performance of the activity.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of a strategic project portfolio, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, schedule, safety and profitability objectives.

• Lead and develop a team of project managers, fostering capability growth, engagement and collective performance.

• Ensure portfolio governance, identify major risks and implement the appropriate action and escalation plans.

• Coordinate interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Service and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Contribute to pre-sales and contract negotiation phases by providing expertise on technical, planning, execution and risk aspects.

• Define and deploy processes, tools and best practices that continuously improve Delivery performance and support the growth of the ESS Business Unit.

This position includes approximately 30% travel in France and abroad.
