Position: Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) - Services, Villeurbanne

Your future role

Leverage your engineering expertise in railway signaling services, working with a dynamic team to maintain and innovate signaling systems crucial for safe and efficient rail transport.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and after-sales teams, manage technical aspects of signaling projects from bidding to delivery, and handle tasks such as responding to calls for tender, supervising Verification & Validation activities, and interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to tenders within your expertise
  2. Managing Work Package Engineering in terms of quality, cost, and schedule
  3. Making informed technical decisions for system design and maintenance
  4. Supervising Verification & Validation activities
  5. Leading Project Reviews with the Project Manager
  6. Securing client acceptance of solutions
  7. Managing technical risks and mitigation plans
  8. Collaborating across departments and with experts

Your profile

We value passion and mindset over experience. You do not need to possess all skills but should ideally have:

  • An engineering degree in electronics or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of project engineering experience
  • Knowledge of onboard passenger information systems (sound, visual displays, video surveillance)
  • Familiarity with other railway systems (CBTC, TCMS, Traction) is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders
  • Adaptability in complex environments and strategic decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in English
