Qualifications

  • PhD et expérience post-doctorale requis.

LOCATION AND AFFILIATION

Biology Department, Cellular Hematology and Bioclinical Hemostasis Laboratory

PLACE OF PRACTICE

Functional Unit: Hematological Genomics (3206)

- It is part of the CHU oncogenomics laboratory.

- Its activity enables cross-disciplinary approaches to integrate clinical data with genome or proteome analyses.

- Environment includes researchers, biologists, laboratory technicians, interns, and students.

- Staff: Thierry Fest (PU-PH, head) and Céline Pangault (MCU-PH).

HIERARCHICAL RELATIONSHIP

Administrative responsibility: P. NICOLAS, local manager; F. PREVILLE, Senior Health Executive

Medical responsibility: Professeur Thierry FEST, Department Head & UF Manager

MAIN FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Collaborates with biologists, technicians, assistants, and secretaries within projects.

External: Links with Clinical Research Department, Inserm U1236, Biological Resource Center, and Clinical Investigation Center.

ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS

Focus on fundamental research involving innovative molecular approaches, genome and epigenome regulation, and multi-step biological processes.

Manage specific research projects, develop biological approaches, and utilize bioinformatics tools.

Contribute to onco-hematology research, training, and dissemination of results through reports and publications.

Supervise technical staff and trainees, participate in scientific promotion activities.

PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

PhD in molecular/cellular biology or immunology with post-doctoral experience.

Deep knowledge of cellular/molecular biology, genome expression, bioinformatics, and experience with biological models.

Experience abroad, knowledge of immunology and hematology, project management skills, and fluency in English.

QUALITIES

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full-time, permanent contract, open to EU citizens, starting from early 2024.
