American Structurepoint in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil Group. You will support the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects while collaborating across disciplines and mentoring junior staff.

You will prepare site design plans, develop grading and stormwater designs, and coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive civil/site design or municipal infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.

Responsabilités

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final site design plans for commercial, institutional, and public projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater designs using applicable local and state standards.
• Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Coordinate project design activities with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and clients.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater conveyance and detention systems.
• Mentor and assist junior engineers and CAD designers, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Provide technical support during permitting and construction administration phases.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and review agencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
