Be at the center of a high-end skin brand, with a very dynamic environment, diverse & innovative procurement projects, and within a multifunctional & international team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Project Buyer, you are responsible for all end-to-end procurement activities related to innovation and productivity projects within your brand, supporting the implementation of global and regional category sourcing strategies. Projects cover a wide range of packaging & raw material categories, as well as TPM (Third Party Manufacturing) & internal factories.

Your main focus:

1. Product Innovation: Act as the procurement voice for the brand, working closely with multifunctional teams from marketing briefs to market launches, ensuring objectives for cost, timing, and lead times are met. Manage supplier relationships to capture innovations and build sustainable, strong partnerships.
2. Productivity: Identify and lead productivity, renovation, and value preservation projects in coordination with R&D and operations teams to deliver savings or improve supply chain value. Monitor procurement activities such as CAPEX expenses, savings, and quarterly budget reviews.
3. Support to Operations: Support business continuity plans for high-risk materials and manage claims/issues collaboratively with the operations team, implementing actions to minimize inventory and obsolescence, notably through OQ setup.
4. Leadership: Engage stakeholders proactively, influence decision-making, provide high-quality procurement support, and highlight risks with mitigation plans to internal teams and leadership.
5. Business Partnering: Ensure effective information sharing and support between local organizations and business units. Promote a positive networking environment within departments and serve as an ambassador for the procurement department's reputation.

The team consists of one Lead Buyer, working closely with departments such as R&D Packaging, R&D Formula, Finance, Internal Project Management, and Operations. All colleagues maintain a positive mindset, are ready to help, and enjoy their work.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You enjoy working with various stakeholders and are an experienced project manager with strong prioritization skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, international environment. Additionally, you:

• Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain, with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the beauty industry or a related field as a project buyer.
• Are agile and flexible, capable of navigating complex environments creatively and proactively.
• Possess strong communication skills (oral & written) and are team-oriented.
• Have strong analytical skills and project management capabilities.
• Speak English fluently; proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
