Purpose

The total purchasing spend of the IDEMIA Group exceeds €1B. The Group set ambitious targets for capturing savings through purchasing from both Critical Raw Materials as well all Indirect cost categories year over year, which involves a significant transformation of the Purchasing organization and how it interacts with other IDEMIA Business Units, Regions and Functions.

We are looking to increase the coverage and value of Purchasing, hiring a Professional Services and Real Estate Senior Buyer, based in La Défense.

The successful candidate will manage the Professional Services (mainly Finance & Human Services, IP & Certifications), Contractors Purchases of the IDEMIA Public Security Division and support Head of Indirect & Real Estate Process & System Purchasing Director on purchasing activities of real estate project. Total purchases in scope are estimated to be 45M€.

In a high tech and truly global environment you will play a critical role in delivering in our ambitious savings and transformation objectives while securing business continuity and quality of services.

Internal stakeholders (Business Lines Management, HR, Finance, IT Department Management, etc.) will be worldwide, with an important activity in Europe (mainly in France, Romania, Marocco).

The successful candidate will be able to

• Develop and/or revisit category strategies.
• perform tactical and strategic sourcing activities across multiple categories of spend
• increase purchasing coverage.
• Use existing tools and KPI in place to monitor supplier panel and adapt whenever necessarylead purchasing activities on real estate projects

REPORTS TO: Head of Indirect & Real Estate Process & System Purchasing Director of IDEMIA IPS Division

Key Missions

• Define, manage and operate the category purchasing strategies and lead Global/regional / local key sourcing initiatives
• Develop, implement and manage cost savings projects
• Manage supplier base while proactively seeking and developing new suppliers that strategically fit with IDEMIA requirement and compliance
• Develop, implement purchasing reporting based on common KPIs

Profile & Other Information

Education :

• Graduated in engineering and/or Business administration or similar.
• Specialization/Certification in procurement.

Experience:

• Confirmed experienced of 4 to 6 years in Purchasing on Intellectual Services.
• Purchasing experience in an international environment
• Experience of managing and deploying VMS tool is a plus
• Real Estate project experience is a plus
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• Commercial acumen, experience in negotiating back-to-back agreements.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, e-sourcing tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
• Team spirit
• Results oriented with ability to function in a multi-cultural team environment, experience in working in a remote/distributed environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and negotiating skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while effectively meeting deadlines
