We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a :
Job Purpose:
- To operate process and utility equipment, wells, pipelines, etc., in a safe and efficient manner, following operating procedures and guidelines.
- Monitoring and controlling all oil, gas production, and utility systems to ensure production and environmental targets are met.
- Acting as a member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team in case of incidents to minimize harm to personnel, environment, and assets.
- Contributing to the development and review of risk assessments to identify hazards, implement mitigations, and reduce risks.
Main Duties:
- Assist the Production Supervisor in safely delivering core business activities through active management of production tasks.
- Serve as Permit Authority to ensure all work complies with the Permit to Work process and company requirements.
- Provide analysis and comments on production volumes, opportunities, and risks to improve performance.
- Lead personnel to meet production targets and maximize production/rejection volumes.
- Promote NOC core values, acting as a safety role model and fostering collaboration.
- Encourage cost consciousness and embed a strong cost culture.
- Drive an incident-free environment by establishing and maintaining safety culture.
- Participate in and promote health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines for Process Safety, Operational Safety, and Plant Integrity.
- Conduct chemical stock checks and optimize chemical injections.
- Isolate and secure equipment for maintenance.
Profile:
Minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND, or equivalent).
Driver certificate issued by a recognized institute.
Experience with seatrax pedestal cranes, Liebherr, hydro lift, or similar equipment.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years offshore on-field equipment in oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Good interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
