Job Description

Are you someone who sees a factory as a playground where every process can be optimized? Do you enjoy transforming organizations by combining strategic vision and daily pragmatism? Are you attracted to working for a market leader, expert in Industry 4.0 and innovation, in a strongly international environment?

If these questions resonate with you, keep reading… we might have some things to discuss.

ALKEMI RH is a human resources consulting firm… Creators of Alchemy, we like to serve, tell it like it is, and be serious without taking ourselves too seriously.

We are proud to support our client, SETI TEC (a subsidiary of DESOUTTER Tools), which is recruiting a Production & Supply Chain Manager (M/F) (executive – CDI) at their site in COLLEGIEN.

Founded in 2005, SETI TEC quickly established itself internationally as a major player in advanced drilling solutions for aerospace, working with leading aircraft manufacturers. In 2010, the company joined DESOUTTER TOOLS (headquartered in Nantes, part of the Swedish group ATLAS COPCO), a global leader in electrical and pneumatic assembly tools for various sectors including automotive, aerospace, general industry, and light assembly. This successful integration has allowed SETI TEC to accelerate its growth.

In 2019, SETI TEC opened a new headquarters in COLLEGIEN (77), a center of expertise in aerospace drilling equipped with state-of-the-art tools and facilities for customer visits and training, both nationally and internationally.

By 2025, SETI TEC aims to be among the most innovative leaders in the market, with 50 employees committed to high standards of quality, productivity, and safety in the aerospace sector.

Why choose us?
  • Various benefits: 218-day contract, RTT, excellent health insurance, provident fund, profit-sharing agreement, telecommuting, meal vouchers, CESU, punctual bonuses, holiday and gift vouchers, 80% transportation reimbursement, soft mobility and carpooling options.
  • Work in a human-sized, autonomous, agile company backed by a large international group, with a focus on innovation.
  • Opportunities for career development in France and abroad.
  • Join a company that values its roots, emphasizes collaboration, good atmosphere, and team loyalty through training and social events.
  • An inclusive employer committed to diversity and accessibility.
Your mission

If you accept, your goal is to ensure the entire production process, quality, costs, deadlines, and safety of your teams.

Reporting to the General Director and part of the Management team, you will manage the Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain, and Industrialization departments (~20 people).

You will oversee the efficiency of the entire operation, manage budgets related to production investments, and develop strategies in production, purchasing, and supply chain for your site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring production costs, delivery times, and quality standards are met.
  • Optimizing the supply chain, inventory levels, order tracking, and customer commitments.
  • Collaborating with Quality and R&D to ensure robust product industrialization.
  • Ensuring safety rules are followed.
  • Managing production capacity and equipment utilization.
  • Continuously improving operations for increased productivity.
  • Budget management to meet expenditure and revenue goals.
  • Participating in defining operational strategies aligned with division goals and deploying them across the site and future production units.
  • Adapting tools and processes to meet growing demand and evolving product mixes.
  • Proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Managing investments by defining specifications, selecting suppliers, and monitoring progress.
  • Developing team skills and machine capacity.

This position is based in COLLEGIEN, with occasional travel (once per quarter) within France. The remuneration package includes a fixed salary paid over 13 months and a variable component.

Do you have the right profile?

While we are not looking for a perfect candidate, we do have requirements! We hope you are as committed to your future role and company as we are to finding the right person. We want to feel a genuine connection working together.

We might feel this alchemy if:

  • You have an engineering degree (mechanical, electromechanical, production, or purchasing) and at least 5 years of experience in production management within a small to medium-sized company (autonomous production unit of about 20 people), integrated into an international group. Your responsibilities include managing small and medium series production, continuous improvement, change management, and problem solving.
  • You have skills in Production, Supply Chain, Lean Manufacturing, Industrialization, and Quality to successfully carry out your tasks.
  • You are customer-oriented, recognized for your leadership, organizational, and planning skills. You are committed to coaching your team and developing their skills. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Your English level allows you to communicate fluently both written and spoken.

Ideally, you would possess all these qualities, but we are open to candidates who meet at least 80% of these criteria, with potential and motivation—because we believe in the right alchemy!
