Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce amazing sounding content across all formats on Pocket FM. You shall actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound designs, optimize production quality, and create immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with a hearty curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. Lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create excellent quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and aligning sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publication of episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production process management, and final output quality control.
4. Ensuring high standards in audio production and innovation in creating hit shows.

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of related work experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
2. Command over French (native) & English (fluent).
3. Background in audio work is a bonus.
4. Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production with ideas for innovation.
5. Location: Anywhere in France (Remote working).
6. Contract duration: 6 months.
