Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound designs and optimize production quality, creating immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. You will lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create excellent quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention at all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
  2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
  3. Sound design, overseeing the production process, and ensuring final output quality.
  4. Bringing 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
  5. Fluent command of French (native) and English.
  6. Having an audio work background is a bonus.
  7. Demonstrating passion and knowledge about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating successful shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote Working)

Contract Duration: 6 months
