Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound designs and optimize production quality for an immersive audio experience. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging content that maintains high listener retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.)
  2. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams
  3. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows
  4. Sound design, production process management, and ensuring final output quality

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming
  • Native French speaker and fluent in English
  • Background in audio work is a bonus
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with innovative ideas for creating hit shows

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote Working)

Contract Duration: 6 months
