Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced. Your responsibilities include working on sound designs and optimizing production quality to create immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling, combined with curiosity for innovation and data. You will define the audio production strategy and playbook, leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create high-quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention at all stages.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Overseeing sound design, production processes, and final output quality.
4. Ensuring the production team maintains high standards and adheres to deadlines.

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
2. Native proficiency in French and fluent in English.
3. Background in audio work is a plus.
4. Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work)

Contract Duration: 6 months
