Job Description:

Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is to partner with voice over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content for Pocket FM. The responsibilities include engaging with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios, both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound design and optimize production quality for an immersive listening experience. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and lead a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages.

Key responsibilities include managing the production schedule, overseeing recording sessions, sound design, mixing, and publication of episodes for multiple shows. The candidate should have 8+ years of experience in TV, content, or audio production, and be fluent in French (native) and English. A background in audio work is a bonus. This is a remote position anywhere in France, on a 6-month contract.
