Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound designs and optimize production quality, creating immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data. They will define the audio production strategy and playbook, lead, and support a team of talented producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention at all stages.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production processes, and ensuring final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker and fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and innovative about audio production, with ideas for creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work).

Contract Duration: 6 months.
