Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is to partner with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market. The goal is to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will engage with internal teams, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios, both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound design and optimize production quality for an immersive experience.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, helping to define the audio production strategy. You will lead and support a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that retain listeners across all stages (initial, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, extensions, etc.).

Responsibilities include managing production schedules, overseeing recording sessions, aligning sound engineers, and handling post-production. You will lead all aspects of audio production, including scheduling, recording, editing, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows. Knowledge of sound design, production processes, and final output quality is essential.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming
• Native French speaker & fluent in English
• Background in audio work is a plus
• Passionate about audio production with innovative ideas for creating hit shows
• Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work)

Contract duration: 6 months
