Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The role involves utilizing their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design and optimize production quality to create immersive audio content.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling, coupled with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. You will lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production process management, and ensuring final output quality.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker and fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and innovative about audio production, with ideas for creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work).

Contract: 6 months.
