Description du poste

Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data. You will define the audio production strategy and playbook. You will lead and support a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

  1. Manage the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
  2. Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
  3. Oversee sound design, production processes, and final outputs.
  4. Bring 8+ years of experience in TV, content, audio production, or related fields.
  5. Command over French (native) and English (fluent).
  6. Audio work background is a bonus.
  7. Be passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows.
  8. This position is open anywhere in France with remote working options.
  9. Contract duration: 6 months.
