Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce amazing sounding content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced. Your responsibilities include working on sound design, optimizing production quality to create immersive and compelling audio content, and defining the audio production strategy and playbook.

The successful candidate will combine a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data-driven decision making. You will lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create high-quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and aligning sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Handling sound design, production processes, and ensuring final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Command over French (native) and English (fluent).
• Audio work background is a bonus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production with innovative ideas for creating hit shows.
• Location: Anywhere in France (Remote working).
• Contract duration: 6 months.
