Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data to define the audio production strategy and playbook. You will lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create excellent quality shows that retain listeners across all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and aligning sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production process management, and ensuring final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native proficiency in French and fluent in English.
• Audio work background is a bonus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with innovative ideas for creating hit shows.

This position is remote, based anywhere in France, with a 6-month contract.
