Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The role involves utilizing their skills to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. The candidate will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound designs and optimize production quality to create immersive audio experiences. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.). Manage the production schedule for new shows, oversee recording sessions, coordinate with sound engineers and post-production teams, and handle all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows. Additional responsibilities include sound design and ensuring the final output meets quality standards.

Requirements include 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming. Command of French (native) and English (fluent) is essential. An audio work background is a bonus. The candidate should be passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows. This position offers a 6-month contract and is open to candidates anywhere in France with remote working options.
