Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows with high listener retention.
2. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
3. Overseeing all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
4. Handling sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker and fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a plus.
• Passionate and innovative about audio production, with ideas for creating hit shows.

This position is remote, anywhere in France, on a 6-month contract.
