Qualifications

Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will engage with internal production teams, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios (both in-house and outsourced) to work on sound design and optimize production quality to create immersive audio content. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

• Lead and support a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention at all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, extensions).
• Manage the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
• Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, editing, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
• Oversee sound design, production processes, and final output quality.
• Require 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Proficiency in French (native) and English (fluent).
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and innovative about audio production, with ideas for creating successful shows.

Position is remote, based anywhere in France. Contract duration: 6 months.
