Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. You will lead and support a team of talented producers and audio leads to create excellent shows that engage listeners and maximize retention at all stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, extensions).

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production processes, and ensuring high-quality output.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker & fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate about audio production with innovative ideas for creating hit shows.

This position is based anywhere in France with remote working options. The contract duration is 6 months.
