Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. The role involves engaging with internal teams, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios (both in-house and outsourced) to work on sound design and optimize production quality for an immersive listening experience.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data to define the audio production strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and supporting a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages.
  2. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating sound engineers and post-production.
  3. Overseeing all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, editing, mixing, and publishing episodes.
  4. Sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in TV, content, or audio production.
  • Native French speaker and fluent in English.
  • Background in audio work is a bonus.
  • Passionate and innovative about audio production and creating successful shows.

This position is based anywhere in France with remote working options. The contract duration is 6 months.
