Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. The candidate will engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios (both in-house and outsourced) to work on sound design and optimize production quality for an immersive listening experience.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy. They will lead and support a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention at all stages.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers, and post-production.
2. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
3. Sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker and fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a plus.
• Passionate and innovative about audio production, with ideas for creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work).

Contract: 6 months.
