Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The role involves utilizing their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM. The candidate shall actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios, both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound designs and optimize production quality to create immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create excellent quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Key duties include managing the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, aligning sound engineers, and post-production. Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publication of episodes for multiple shows, along with sound design, production process, and final output.

Requirements:

• 8+ years related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming
• Command over French (native) & English (fluent)
• Audio work background is a bonus
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote Working)

Language: French (native), English (fluent)

Contract Duration: 6 months
