Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data to define the audio production strategy.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create high-quality shows that engage listeners and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).
2. Managing the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers, and post-production.
3. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
4. Sound design, overseeing the production process, and final output.

Qualifications include:

1. 8+ years of relevant experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
2. Proficiency in French (native) and English (fluent).
3. Background in audio work is a bonus.
4. A passion for and knowledge of audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows.

This position is based anywhere in France with remote working options. The contract duration is six months.
