Job Description:

Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. The role involves engaging with internal production teams, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios (both in-house and outsourced) to work on sound design and optimize production quality for an immersive listening experience. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and supporting a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention at various stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).
2. Managing production schedules for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
3. Leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
4. Sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
2. Native French and fluent English language skills.
3. Background in audio work is a plus.
4. Passion for audio production and innovation, with ideas for creating successful shows.
5. Located anywhere in France (remote work possible).

This is a 6-month contract position.
