Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The role involves utilizing their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced to work on sound designs and optimize production quality to create immersive audio content. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.). Managing the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, aligning sound engineers and post-production, and leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows. Additional responsibilities involve sound design, production processes, and final output.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related work experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming
• Native proficiency in French & fluent in English
• Audio work background is a bonus
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production with innovative ideas for creating hit shows

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote Working)

Contract duration: 6 months
