Job Description:

Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business, utilizing their skills to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM.

You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios both in-house and outsourced to work on sound design and optimize production quality to create immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Manage the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers, and post-production.

Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.

Additional responsibilities include sound design, production process management, and final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native French speaker and fluent in English.
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows.
• Location: Anywhere in France (Remote work).

Contract duration: 6 months.
