Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

The Production Manager will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound designs and optimize production quality, creating immersive and compelling audio content.

The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create excellent quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).

Key duties include managing the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams, and leading all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows. Additional responsibilities involve sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Native proficiency in French and fluency in English.
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with innovative ideas for creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote working)

Contract duration: 6 months
