Production Manager - France

Job Description:

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The goal is to utilize their skills to produce high-quality sound content across all formats on Pocket FM.

The successful candidate will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios—both in-house and outsourced—to work on sound design, optimize production quality, and create immersive audio content. They will marry a strong passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and support a team of talented producers and audio production leads to create high-quality shows that keep listeners engaged and maximize retention across all stages (show beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.).
2. Manage the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions, coordinating with sound engineers, and post-production.
3. Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
4. Oversee sound design, production processes, and final output.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related work experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Command over French (native) and English (fluent).
• Background in audio work is a bonus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows.

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote working)

Contract Duration: 6 months
