Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market where we are expanding our business. The role involves utilizing their skills to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. You will actively engage with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios, both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound designs and optimize production quality to create immersive audio content. The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data to define the audio production strategy and playbook.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of producers and audio production leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention at various stages (beginning, 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs, show extensions, etc.), managing the production schedule for new shows, overseeing recording sessions, aligning sound engineers, and handling post-production. You will lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows, along with sound design and final output.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming
• Native French and fluent English
• Background in audio work is a bonus
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production, with ideas for innovation and creating hit shows

Location: Anywhere in France (Remote Working)

Contract: 6 months
